Back In Da Hood!!!

My "on road" laptop aka ‘Digital studios 4’ aka ‘Function Dub Hub’ is fully loaded with the same plug ins as my studio Mac. So I’m ready to roll when I hit the UK.
First stop is with Dj Flava and Horrific James to crack on with a nice little thing we have going called "Trident Code". Look out for our first EP in November. It’s great working with these guys because we party at the same time. It reminds me of the times when my friends used to come to my studio when I first started producing to vibes up the place. I mean who wants to sit in a studio all day, every day on their own!?!? I’ve already worked with Horrific James (aka jamesjessop.co.uk) and his partner in crime J Bionic on a track called ‘Hellraiser’ on James' label Horrific Recordings. Check it out right HERE

Next will be Nomine. We’ve got some exciting Jungle on the go and some other random bits and bobs plus his town has good Chinese restaurants and I’ll need my Salt & Pepper Prawn fix by then.
From Nomine’s I’ll nip over to my old skool friend Adam aka Flapjack to see what’s cracking and I’m sure we’ll be joined by Westy for a little party vibes in the studio. Adam knows heaps about music and has plenty of vinyl from the late 80’s onwards but he doesn’t brag about it he just enjoys the music
Then up to Manchester to Response’s house to crack on where we left off. We’re working on some tracks for the 50th release on Ingredients Music plus it’s great to catch up with Response and his brother Adam the vinyl freak!
A fair drive away from Manchester is a gorgeous town called Poole. It’s worth the drive though because the bad man Spirit lives there so I’ll crash on the sofa while bashing out some Digital+Spirit bits. Here’s something called ‘Heaven’ taken from our forthcoming EP on Phantom Audio featured on Dj Friction’s BBCR1 show.
Back to Ipswich my home town to work with Klute & Villem.
Villem and I have been working on a few bits over the year and one of the tracks called ‘Sun Bites’ has been signed to Metalheadz so we’re chipping away in the studio to fix up a 3 track EP. Villem is an easy guy to work with and he’s a pleasant guy too but something tells me not to take that as a weakness!
I’m working with Klute because I’m piecing together a collab LP for Function April 2016 featuring some old Function crew, friends, artists I respect and general vibes providers. We’re in the middle of a heavy drifty number which I’m quite excited about so I’m really looking forward to finishing that.
